At HIGHEND Munich 2024 I was to the T+A location and I heard these (driven by HA 200). Maybe the clamping force was a bit to much for me. To be honest, HA 200 seems a bit ugly to me but de gustibus non est disputandum. I have heard also ABYSS AB1266 PHI TC - they are not as strange as they seem in the pictures... although the cable is really terrible... I belive that these are really the king of the bass. I stayed at Astell&Kern for 4 hours and listened to all the headphones, including DCA, Warwick, HiFiMAN and Stax. I liked Yamaha YH-5000SE the most. I liked them so much that I went to the Yamaha location, which was somewhere very far away...

I am confused when you say Fiio recommends using it horizontally but showing it vertically? I prefer horizontally personally but do not want to buy it if Fiio recommends it vertically.

Based on your review of the Gustard R26, I bought one and am very happy with it. Now I intend to buy these speakers, but I don’t know which stands are the best suited, how high they should be etc.? Speaker stands may be just as important to sound quality as speakers themselves. In your written review you just say: “make sure you have the right speaker stands and surface area to accommodate them.” Could you recommend any stand? I see that you were using a pair of white stands (50-60 cm?), is this the optimal height? It seems its top plate may not be suitably sized…

Imho other manufacturers should also implement Fiio M23's desktop mode feature. Good for longevity once battery of the player becomes a bloated mess.

I cannot wear these for two reasons: 1. They are not VEGAN. 2. Those type of headbands are uncomfortable on my BALD head.

After giving these a thorough listen I can say YOU DESCRIBED PERFECTLY ALL THE QUALITIES & DEFECTS the Solitaire P is offering. Very detailed, fast, great resolution (although other than soundstage depth I didn't perceived many differences Vs Susvara), technical and punchy. In the end due to the analytical cold nature of the presentation and the lack of warmth and treble spikes...I prefer Susvara and I will take Elite with less resolution ANY DAY. These days I tend to prefer a headphone that allows me to appreciate all genre with a more musical and natural approach. But if you want THE MOST TECHNICAL HEADPHONES...THESE MIGHT BE IT!👍

Yeah my headphone journey ended once I got a two channel rig. Nevertheless you need a decent room, which I will find, however in the meantime I'm reduced to a Node N130 and Sennheiser HD250BTs since the GF kicked me out lol.

My endgame headphone is: Goldnote Ds1000 - LTA Z10e - Solitaire P

I had the chance to try the Solitaire P at a local Hifi Store and they hooked me instantly. The Bass was simply the best ive heard. Its the highest End headphone i heard. Unfortunatly its way out of my Budget, but they are simply amazing Headphones.

I am really happy that You made a review of Sol P and that Your opinion is very similar to mine. I hope that they will get more love from headphones society (which they deserve) thanks to Your review and more ppl will try them :) my favorite headphones! how would these be for gaming ? i use a pair of AKGK812 and there sound stage and accuracy are pint point but a little to sharp for my ears

I bought this unit after watching your review. I haven't got a lot of experience with highend headphones amps/dac. Before this unit, I used an IFI Zen dac v2. This unit opens my Edition XS 's soundstage pretty much and of course, lets me listen with higher volumes without distorting the sound coming out of the headphones. I also tried connecting it through i2s using a ddc, the only difference I heard was in the treble which is a tiny bit less grainy. Putting it in my stereo setup which is pretty resolving and comparing it through a switch to a Gustard R26 and the latter has a tuny bit more base and a tiny bit more open soundstage .
